What is the local currency?

The local currency is the Mauritian Rupee (Rs). It is divided into cents ("sous").

Mauritian Creole is the most spoken language. Most of the population also speaks French and English. Hindus speak Bhojpuri (Creole version of Hindi).

The country has a stable political and economic situation. It is a parliamentary democracy.

The time difference is 4 hours during Mauritian winter and 3 hours in summer.

Reunion Island is about half an hour by plane from Mauritius.

What is the minimum age to proceed to the check-in?

The minimum age requirement is 18 years old.

What is your cancellation policy?

To avoid the penalty of one night’s charge per room, reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to arrival

We do not require any deposit.

Children under two years old can stay for free in parents' room.

To enjoy early check-in, guests must pay 75% of the room rate.

What are the methods of payment accepted by Voila Hotel?

You can pay by credit card, debit card or in cash (MUR,USD and EURO).

What time is check in / check out?

Check-in time is 2pm and check-out time is 12am.

Is it possible to smoke inside the hotel or on the premises?

It is not possible to smoke in the rooms and covered areas, but guests are free to smoke in designated outdoor smoking areas.

Is there Wi-Fi access in your hotel?

Complementary Wi-Fi access is available at Voila Hotel.

What are the different packages offered?

- Room only, Bed & Breakfast, Half Board and Full Board

Can we find an infirmary at the hotel?

Hotels are equipped with a first aid kit and will call a doctor upon guests’ request. Private Hospital located 5 minutes’ drive from the hotel.

How to organise excursions?

You can book excursions directly at the hotel reception.

Is there a currency exchange desk at the hotel?

Foreign currencies (EURO and USD) can be exchanged at the reception desk. All major credit cards are accepted (American Express, MasterCard & Visa).

Can I rent a car directly through the hotel?

For car rental, please contact Reception.

Voila Hotel does not offer a free shuttle service, but you can organise your travel needs with the hotel reception upon booking and on departure.

Yes, we provide a hairdryer and anti-mosquito device.
